Approval cards: Pufy asks first
How approval cards work, what needs one and what runs on its own.
When Pufy wants to do something that sends, books or changes something outside Pufy, it shows a card first. Nothing happens until you approve it.
Answer a card
- Read the card. It shows exactly what Pufy will do: who it goes to, the words, the time, the page.
- Tap Approve to go ahead, or Decline to stop it.
- Pufy tells you the result. It only says something is done once it really is.
What needs a card
- Creating or moving a calendar event, or opening a message or email.
- Sending a form, signing in or booking on a website with the cloud browser.
- Any tool of a connected service that does more than read.
- Saving a skill, creating an automation or a price watch.
What runs on its own
- Reading: web searches, pages, and your calendar or contacts when you allowed it.
- Pufy's own notes and to-dos. These show a card with Undo instead, for 7 days.
Good to know
- In voice chat, say "yes" to approve or "no" to decline.
- Pufy does not buy anything. Payments are turned off.
- If the details changed after the card was made, the card is refused and nothing is done.
- Questions from the API and runs of automations can make cards too. They wait in the app for you.
